The Operating Room at Plateau Medical Center is a specially equipped two-room suite. The OR provides nursing and technical care to patients undergoing surgical intervention on an inpatient or outpatient basis. Surgery is performed under all forms of anesthesia and across the age continuum. The OR is staffed with registered nurses, certified first assists, certified registered nurse first assists, surgical technologists, certified registered nurse anesthesists (CRNA), anethesiologist, and a surgeon.
