The Rehabilitation Services Department offers physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. Physical Therapy is the evaluation, examination, and utilization of exercise, rehabilitative procedures, manipulations, and physical agents in aiding the diagnosis and treatment of patients to return to their maximum functional level. Occupational therapy involves the evaluation, treatment, and consultation of the patient to use purposeful activity in order to maximize independence, prevent disability, and maintain health. Speech therapy involves evaluation, treatment, and consultation to patients with speech and language disorders, cognitive and memory disorders, and swallowing disorders. All services emphasize education of both the patient and family.
